Dennis Edward Huber, Sr.

Dennis Edward Huber, Sr. of Wilmington, Delaware passed away at his home on Wednesday afternoon, December 20, 2017, surrounded by his loved ones.  He was 64 years old.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Dennis was the son of George H. Huber, Sr. and the late Tessie Huber.  In his working career, Dennis was vice president of George H. Huber Coatings.  He owned the Pinball Palace in Edgemoor and later cultivated a successful wallpaper hanging business for commercial and residential clients.  In fact, at the care facility for which he was a patient, Dennis hung the paper years ago.  He recently said, "the paper still looks good".  He was always proud of the impeccable job he did in his trade.

He is survived by his father, George H. Huber, Sr. and his wife Elaine; his son, Dennis E. Huber, Jr. and his wife, Kristin; grandchildren, Dawson, Karrington and Kendrick; siblings, Henry Huber and Karen Brady (Steve).  Also survived by his former wife, Diane Huber.  He was predeceased by his brother, Gary Huber (Nora).

A funeral service will be at 11:00AM on Friday, December 28, 2017 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square.  A viewing will be at the funeral home from 10:00AM until 11:00AM.  Burial will follow the funeral service in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. Dupont Highway, New Castle, DE.
