Duane "Mike" R. Nice passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Brandywine Assisted Living at Longwood.  He was 84 years old.

Born in Clarence, New York, he was the son of the late John A. Nice and the late Helen Pflieger Nice.

He was the beloved husband for 55 years of Mary Chiodo Nice; father of Susan Kuon and her husband Donny, the late John Nice and his wife Dina, William Nice and Richard Nice and his wife JoAnna; grandfather of Maddie Nice, Katie Nice, Tyler Nice, Anna Nice, Cooper Nice, Caleb Nice, Declan Nice, Kyle Kuon and Megan Kuon; brother of the late Melvin Nice; brother in-law of Dorie Nice.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00AM on Friday, January 6, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square.  There will be no viewing.  Burial is private.
