Griffith Lloyd Roberts, Jr. passed away at his home on Monday, September 25, 2017.  He was 92 years old.  Born in Chester, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Griffith Lloyd Roberts, Sr. and the late Margaret Knight Roberts.

He was the beloved husband for 72 years of Marion Olive Wicks Roberts; father of Wayne G. Roberts (Wendy), Harold E. Roberts (Laura Boeckel), Donna J. Roberts (Steve Michnuk), Darlene M. Maynes (Thomas); grandfather of David Roberts, Melissa Hamrick, Jeffrey Roberts, Michele Izbiansky, Anastasia McKnight, Laura Shan and Ryan Maynes; great-grandfather of Travis Roberts, Tiffany Roberts, Ashley Hamorick, Christopher Hamorick, Maya McConnell, Michael Oxford, Gabrielle Maynes, Ava McKnight, Kendall McKnight, Joseph Shan, Maximus Shan, Brody Shan; brother of the late Lloyd Roberts. 

A chapel service with United States Army military honors will be at 11:00AM on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at DELAWARE VETERANS MEMORIAL CEMETERY, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, Delaware 19701.  There will be no viewing.
