Dear Carol and Bobby,

I remember driving to New Jersey to visit you when we were all very young with my parents, Mary and Paul Bare, and my brother John.  I know that our fathers were good friends from their work at DuPont.  My father died from bladder cancer in 1981, and my mother died at age 94 in 2006.  I know that Christmas cards were exchanged between our parents for decades. My brother is a retired chemist who lives in Hockessin, DE, and I am a retired law librarian living in north Wilmington.  I have fond memories of your parents, and I'm sure you miss both of them.

Carol -- I remember many happy times babysitting you and Bobby, so your parents could go to my parents' house to play bridge. Please keep in touch.

Dear Carol,
I'm so glad you got to Crosslands when you did, especially before the norovirus quarantine had to be implemented.  Your mother was a dear friend of our parents.  They enjoyed being Crosslands neighbors who could share the memories of their working and childraising years.  She was a lovely person, with a lovely smile.  I know you will miss her.

Mrs Clem was a cheerful presence in the Crosslands community, and before that in Carneys Point, NJ.  We also knew her as a strong, faithful church member who served often and well in a number of tasks and committees.  We were greatly blessed by her friendship.

Jean was a beautiful lady.  I am thankful to God that He made sure our paths crossed.
