Johanna "Joanna" Benintende of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Brandywine Assisted Living at Longwood.  She was 94 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward H. Benintende; mother of Edward Benintende and his wife Joni, James Benintende and his wife Dorothea, Robert Benintende and his wife Kim and William Benintende and his wife Martha; grandmother of Miya, Emma, Kathryn, Nicholas, Andrew, Jamie, Mary-Elizabeth, William, Olivia, Quinn and John Patrick.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at 2:00PM on Monday, July 25, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

Burial in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be private.
