Marian Carmell passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Heartland Hospice in Wilmington, Delaware.  She was 99 years old.

Born in Bay City, Michigan, Marian was the daughter of the late Gilbert Howe and the late Grace Jones Howe.

Marian made her home in Washington Woods, Michigan until moving to Delaware in 2013.  She resided at Ingleside Assisted Living until her death.  

Marian loved flowers, enjoyed working in her garden, knitting and sewing.  She was long time member for decades of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Midland, Michigan. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Howard Carmell; mother of Fay Sieja and her husband Jim, Kay Schultz and her husband Ken and the late Jo Ann Horschig and her husband the late Ernie Horschig; grandmother of Steve Sieja, Beth Sieja, Chris Lantz, Dan Sieja, Kim Jessup, Mike Schultz, Renee Schultz, David Horschig, Mary Jo Heisler, Pam Bauer and Tom Horschig; great-grandmother of 19 and great-great grandmother of 4.

Her funeral services will be private.
