Basilio Family,

You all are in our prayers at this difficult time. We have the fondest memories of visiting uncle Ray and aunt Annie at their house and looking at all of their beautiful dolls when we were little. Uncle Ray had an infectious humor and smile and will be greatly missed. We are thankful to have a guardian angel like him look over us now. All our love, Kara and Kristen Zagorskie

We wanted to share our condolences with the Basilio family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3, 4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

My dear Uncle Ray! I will miss your laugh and your irreverent sense of humor. Thank you for being so good to me, and especially to my parents. We couldn't have asked for a better neighbor.

I worked for Nick Basilio and Sons from 1980 to 1988. I LOVED WORKING WITH ALL OF THEM! The morning coffee break was my favorite time of day! Ray, always cheerful and upbeat. ALWAYS smiling, joking, laughing. I Loved Him....and looked forward to his words of wisdom or thought of the day. Please know I pray for you all during this time of sorrow. Love, hugs and Prayers. Dear Family, I am sorry for your loss. He was a great man who cared a lot for his family. I'll never forget the time he made all these years for my grandmother since my grandfather died. I remember all of the stories Mynue would share about Uncle Ray when they were kids in Kennett. I will remember his great smile and what a sweet, kind and attentive uncle he was when we were all growing up. He will be greatly missed.

From the hills of Tennessee, your boy Tony Basilio tells it like it is for us Volunteers. When we tune in, we're not fans, we're family. From my family to the Basilios, may THE LORD grant you peace that passes understanding, grace for today, and for the days ahead. The Stinnett Family

I was lucky enough to have Uncle Ray and Aunt Mary as my Godparents. We had a special relationship over the years with gifts and card and phone calls and I loved them both very much. Later when Uncle Ray married Aunt Ann I loved her too.
I have so many of the wood craft projects he made and she painted. All of my memories are happy ones. God bless this wonderful man, I am sorry he is gone.

We lost a wonderful man. There was something special about Uncle Ray.
I loved his company, his stories about growing up in Kennett and drafted in the army at a young age. How he was a medic in the army.
I saw the great love he had for God and his family in his smile.
Besides being a pretty good mushroom grower he made a great cup of coffee.
We all should be happy knowing he is in heaven with God and his family today. Like my other uncles I was proud to call him Uncle Ray. Love you Uncle Ray.

Saying goodbye to Uncle Ray leaves me with so many wonderful memories from childhood days spanning up to my dancing at my daughters weddings. He was an inspiration in his faith, a genuinely good hearted fun loving man, and as he said many times toward the end, grateful to be a part of such a big loving extended family.
His journey on earth is over and now he moves forward toward his heavenly reward.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Much love, Kathy
