Rose Agnes Canaris passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Bryn Mawr Hospital.  She was 88 years old.  Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe Marsala and the late Cecilia Buffa Marsala.

She was the beloved wife of the late Santo Thomas Canaris who died in 2010; mother of Sandy Canaris and his wife Leona and Richard Canaris and his wife Helene.  Grandmother of Brian Canaris and Michael Harris.

A prayer service will be at 10:00AM on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, PA.  Burial will follow the service in STS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.
