Maritza Garcia

Maritza Garcia, a cherished mother, devoted friend, and proud immigrant of Venezuela, passed away on April 8, 2024, with her three daughters by her side. Maritza was survived by her three daughters, Juliana Kohler, Elizabeth Pierro, and Adriana Garcia Cherundolo. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, brother, nieces, nephews and sons-in-law.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Willowdale Chapel, ­ 675 Unionville Rd, Kennett Square, PA 19348.

Maritza's life was a testament to love, compassion, and selflessness, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Born and raised in Venezuela, Maritza immigrated to the United States with her husband.  Maritza's greatest joy in life was her family. She was the loving mother of three daughters, whose lives she enriched with her unwavering love and guidance. Her devotion to her family knew no bounds, and she always put their needs above her own.

Known for her warm smile and compassionate heart, Maritza touched the lives of everyone she met. She possessed an innate desire to help others, volunteering her time and resources to support those in need, both in her community and her beloved homeland of Venezuela. Beyond her dedication to her family and community, Maritza found joy in socializing and dancing.

Despite the end of her marriage, Maritza remained steadfast in her commitment to caring for those she loved. She selflessly devoted her time to caring for her ex-husband during his final days, exemplifying the depth of her compassion and love.

Maritza Garcia leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and generosity that will continue to inspire all who know her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. May her soul rest in eternal peace, knowing that she made the world a brighter place through her kindness, compassion, and forever love.

Maritza García, una querida madre, amiga devota y orgullosa inmigrante de Venezuela, falleció el 8 de abril de 2024, con sus tres hijas a su lado. Maritza es sobrevivida por sus tres hijas, Juliana Kohler, Elizabeth Pierro y Adriana García Cherundolo. Además, le sobreviven sus nietos, hermano, sobrinas, sobrinos, y yernos.

La vida de Maritza fue un testimonio de amor, compasión y altruismo, dejando una marca indeleble en todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Nacida y criada en Venezuela, Maritza emigró a los Estados Unidos con su esposo. La mayor alegría de Maritza en la vida fue su familia. Fue la madre amorosa de tres hijas, cuyas vidas enriqueció con su amor inquebrantable y orientación. Su devoción por su familia no conocía límites, y siempre anteponía sus necesidades a las suyas propias.

Conocida por su cálida sonrisa y corazón compasivo, Maritza tocó las vidas de todos los que conoció. Poseía un deseo innato de ayudar a los demás, ofreciendo su tiempo y recursos para apoyar a aquellos necesitados, tanto en su comunidad como en su amada patria de Venezuela. Más allá de su dedicación a su familia y comunidad, Maritza encontraba alegría en socializar y bailar.

A pesar del fin de su matrimonio, Maritza permaneció firme en su compromiso de cuidar a quienes amaba. Se dedicó desinteresadamente a cuidar a su exesposo durante sus últimos días, ejemplificando la profundidad de su compasión y amor.

Maritza García deja atrás un legado de amor, bondad y generosidad que continuará inspirando a todos los que la conocieron. Será profundamente extrañada por su familia, amigos y todos aquellos cuyas vidas tocó. Que su alma descanse en paz eterna, sabiendo que hizo del mundo un lugar más brillante a través de su bondad, compasión y amor eterno.
