Mary Frances Rush

Mary Frances Rush of West Grove, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at her home with her family by side on Monday, April 15, 2024.  She was 82 years old.  Born in Ashe County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Calhoon and the late Mary Jane Calhoon (nee. Haga).

Mary will be most remembered as the Activities Director at Friends Home in Kennett Square and a long time member of Unionville Presbyterian Church, where she thrived singing in the choir.

She was the beloved mother of seven children, Marilyn Dawn Rush, Mary Jane Davis (Richard Davis), Sharon Lynn Phillips (Steven Phillips), John Rush (Meg Rush), Steven Rush, Gail Rush (Bob Sloan) and Eric Rush;19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2:00PM on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the UNIONVILLE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 815 Wollaston Road, Kennett Square.  Visitation with the family will follow the memorial service at the church.  Interment in Unionville Cemetery will be private.
