Mary Jane Canonico

Mary Jane Canonico of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania passed away at her home as she wished on Sunday, April 21, 2024.  She was 93 years old.  Born on November 18, 1930 in Jenners, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Joseph and Dominica (Calderone) Donio.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Lewis P. Tonolini in 1963, her second husband, Thomas Canoninco in 1981; her son, Michael Louis Tonolini; her sisters, Martha Joan Donio and Antoinette Shadron; brother, Joseph Donio and her grandson, Nathan Tonolini.  

Mary Jane is survived by her daughter, Marsha Edwards {Ken}; sister, Nancy Lee Gowarty {Kenneth} of Jenners, PA.  She is also survived by five grandchildren, a niece, a nephew, many cousins and a host of friends.

A viewing will be from 10:00AM to 11:00AM with a Catholic Prayer Service at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square.  Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery will be private.
