Annie M. Fleming

Annie M. Fleming, formerly of Newark, Delaware, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Brandywine Nursing Home.  She was 95 years old.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Annie was the daughter of Charles Henry Watson and Myrtle Campbell Watson.

Annie was a member of Christiana United Methodist Church for many years and also work at the Thrift Drugs and JCPenney stores.

Annie was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Leslie Fleming.

She was the beloved mother of Carol Anne Scheese, Gerald Leslie Fleming, Lois Jean Midash (David) and Judith Lea Biliunas (Michael); grandmother of Laurie Harrington, Leslie McClements, Scott Fleming, Jason Fleming, Amanda Heron, Matthew Fleming, Ryan Fleming, David Midash, Nicole Sturgill and Danielle Biliunas; great-grandmother of George Nordberg, Hannah Fleming, Madison Fleming, Nathan Fleming, Aubrey Fleming, Jacob Fleming, Alexander Sturgill, Brayden Sturgill and Annalyse Sturgill; great-great grandmother of Colten Nordberg; sister of Shirley Watson, Vaughn Watson, Myrtle Baldwin, Pearl Hagmaier and Evelyn Beverage.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Roberta Steele, Joseph Watson, Edward Watson, James Walker and Adaline Nichols.

A viewing will be from 12:00PM until 1:00PM with a funeral service at 1:00PM on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the Chapel at GRACELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 2220 North Dupont Parkway, New Castle, DE  19720.  Burial will follow in the adjoining memorial park.
