Jacelyne J. Purvis passed away at her Wilmington home with family by her side on Friday afternoon, August 16, 2019. She was 68 years old.
Her given name, Jocelyn Agnestina Edith Johnson, was born in Antigua, West Indies and was the daughter of the late Thomas Johnson and the late Gladys Moore.
Jacelyne worked for JP Morgan Chase for 19 years in their Payment Research Department.
She was the beloved mother of Alec Milton, Theresa Milton, Elizabeth Purvis and Lauren Tamar; grandmother of Joshua C. Milton and Junesa A. McCoy; sister of Albert Johnson, Robert Johnson, Esther Joseph-Johnson and Arthur Johnson. She was pre deceased by siblings, Cynthia Johnson Graves, Florence Johnson and Heskett Johnson.
