John Patrick Brislin

John Patrick Brislin of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 25, 2019.  He was 25 years old.

Born in Drexel Hill, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, he was the beloved son of Robert Patrick Brislin and Marie Therese Marcil Brislin.

John grew up in Chadds Ford, attended Unionville High School and went on to earn a degree in Philosophy at James Madison University.  He was currently working at a Wilmington, Delaware law firm as a paralegal, while completing his paralegal certification program through Delaware County Community College. 

John was well known for his smart sense of humor and curious mind.  No one could make his family and friends laugh like John.  He loved Philadelphia sports, especially the Phillies.  You could always count on John to know the most current score and standings.  He loved his family and the extended family near and far.  He loved his family dogs, Lucy and Rory, who loved him even more in return.  Animals were drawn to John naturally as if sensing his kind and gentle spirit. 

We will miss our dear John Patrick every day of our lives.  We will miss his humor, his smile, his kindness and his always rooting for the underdog. 

John will remain lovingly in our hearts forever...... 

In addition to his parents, John is survived by his sisters, Mary Alice Brislin and Jillian Marie Brislin; maternal grandparents, Eleanor and Raymond Marcil.  He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Brislin.

A Funeral Mass will be offered by Rev. Msgr. David Diamond at 10:00AM on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at St. CORNELIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 160 Ridge Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317.  There will be NO visitation or viewing prior to the Funeral Mass.  Respectfully, burial will be private by the family.
