Joyce Lorraine Fila passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Pocopson Home in West Chester, Pennsylvania.  She was 91 years old.  Born in Melbourne, Australia, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Francis and the late Minnie Gee Francis.

Joyce was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Chester Springs, where she was a former president of their sewing circle.

She was the wife of the late Stanley J. Fila; mother of John Fila, Janice Pascall (Ross), Patricia Robbins (Jeff) and the late Jeffrey Fila (Thea); grandmother of Josh Rifkin, Stosh Fila, Steven Fila, Gary Fila, the late Charlotte Robbins and the late Vanessa Robbins; sister of Patti, Emma and Lori all of Australia.  She was predeceased by her sister, Lorraine.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Friday, May 19, 2017 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1239 Clover Mill Road, Chester Springs, PA.  Inurnment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
