I'm sorry to say I just learned of Ken's passing this week. Ken assigned me to some of my first games in the area when I began officiating in 1995. He was a very generous and caring person and a great guy to meet. My condolences to his family, he will be missed by many.

Many do not know, but Ken was there for me through my darkest hours.  When my x wife became addicted to drugs and alcohol, Ken was always there for me giving me guidance and showing me lessons in life that I was not prepared for.  Ken helped me regain my sanity and my life back. Ken always opened his ears, his opinions, and most of all his HEART to me.  He will be truly missed.
Ken was a true friend and will forever be remembered and sorrowly missed.

Hi Ya fella.......

my thoughts and prayers for his family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Tew family.  I met Ken 13 years ago and he was the first assignor that I worked for.  He would go out of his way to help any official so that they improve.  Any referee that worked for Ken will always remember him saying "Hi Fella, What's your number?"  Thank you for all that you have done. God Bless.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Ken's family. Ken was the first assignor to give me the opportunity to officiate games 12 years ago, when I was in 8th grade. I owe a large part of my entire professional career before the age of 24 to Ken. Ken was a committed referee and cared about each and every one of his guys. Thanks for all you have done for me over the years Ken. You will be missed.
