Luis Cruz Obituary
Luis A. Cruz passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Wilmington Hospital. He was 66 years old. Born on June 26, 1952 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, Luis was the son of the late Andre and Carmen Cruz.
He was the father of Luis Bultron, Margarita Mendez, Marmar Hopkins, Shelia Cruz, Jose Perez, Jaylynn Cruz, Samuel Cruz, Daniel Cruz; brother of Rev. Jorge Cruz, Junior Cruz and Angel Cruz; grandfather of Luis, Alyssa, Giovanni, Lulu, Omar, Victoria, Julianna, Achilles, Ceniyah, Savannah, Mallory, Leyla and Leeana. Also survived by MANY great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by siblings, Victor Cruz, Matilda Cruz, Alicia Cruz, Burnilda Cruz, Carlos Cruz, Carmen Cruz and Luis R. Cruz;
A viewing will be from 3:00PM until 4:30PM with a funeral service at at 4:30PM on Friday, April 12, 2019 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.
A reception with the family will follow the funeral service at 6:00PM at the Masonic Lodge Hall, 121 Center Street, Kennett Square.
Burial will be private.
