Margaret Lanford Harley passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Pocopson Home in West Chester, Pennsylvania.  She was 97 years old.  Born in Astoria, Oregon, Margaret was the daughter of the late Silas Ernest Lanford and the late Mary Octavene Lee Lanford.

She was the beloved wife of the late Henry George Harley; mother of William Harley (Glen) of Weston, Massachusetts, Carol Harley Schleuter of West Grove, Pennsylvania and the late Jere Harley (Jackie) of Portland, Oregon; grandmother of Aisha Harley, Ariana Harley, Angela Lang, Carolyn Falini, Robert H. Schleuter, Leah Harley, Mary Schleuter and William E. Harley; great grandmother of 9.

Visitation with the family will be from 12:00PM until 1:00PM and a memorial service at 1:00PM on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania 19348.

Entombment will be private in First Presbyterian Church Columbarium, Greensboro, North Carolina.
