Robert Walton Jamison, Jr.

Robert W. Jamison Jr., age 68, of Cochranville, Pennsylvania, departed from this world on December 19, 2018 at the Pocopson Home in West Chester.

He was the husband of Ellie Jamison, with whom he shared 23 wonderful years 23 of marriage.  Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Robert W. Jamison Sr. and the late Dorothy M.  Zimmerman.  He enjoyed surf fishing and trips to Cape Hatteras and the Delaware beaches with his wife, family and friends.  He was a man of many trades; including a certified auto-mechanic and carpenter.  Home remodeling was his specialty.  His hobbies included: playing with his dogs, Daisy & Molly, gardening, tending to his livestock, playing the drums and spending many hours flipping through books and playing checkers with his grandchildren. 

In addition to his caring wife, he is survived by his two stepsons, Frank Kolachny and wife Meg, of Ambler, PA and Michael Kolachny and wife Bonnie of Cochranville, PA; stepdaughter, Sherri Abbulone of GrosseIle, Michigan; grandchildren, Angela Luminello, Michael, Lauren, Jessica, Jacob and Brandon Kolachny, Salvatore and Valentina Abbulone; great granddaughter, Brooke Luminello; two sisters, Donna Kurdziel and husband Michael of Maryland and Darlene Deveney and husband Darren of Florida.  He is predeceased by his sister, Barbara Phillips, with whom he shared a special bond- departing within hours of each other.

A visitation will be from 10:00AM until 11:00AM with a funeral service at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at MANOR PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 505 Street Road, Cochranville, Pennsylvania.  Burial will follow the funeral service in the adjoining cemetery.  A luncheon will be offered at the church following the burial service.
