Albert William Lilley, Sr. of Avondale, Pennsylvania passed away at his home after a long illness on Thursday, May 30, 2024. He was 70 years old.
Born in West Grove, Pennsylvania, Al was the son of the late Calvin Hamford Lilley, Jr. and the late Jane Anna Massey Lilley.
Following his education, Al worked as a mason and then at NVF for 29 years. He continued in the trades as a locksmith and drove for his son at Recycle Me Right. A true, “jack of all trades”, Al worked to support his family. He was a member of the Avon Grove Church of the Nazarene, the Rough & Tumble Tractor Association, SJ Gas Engine Club and the GPLA Greater Philadelphia Locksmith Association. Al enjoyed going to tractor shows, building furniture and could fix anything. Most of all, he loved his family!
He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Victoria “Vickie” Ellean Boyle Lilley; son, Albert William Lilley, Jr. {Kristin} and Kenneth Edward Lilley {Tara}; grandchildren, Sean Timothy Lee Drews, Cole Aidan Lilley Wiegand and Hannah Taylor Lilley; sisters, Sharon Adora Lilley Evans and Annamary Grace Lilley Padilla. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Rebecca Diane Lilley and brother, Calvin Hamford Lilley, III.
Interment will be at 10:00AM on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Faggs Manor Cemetery, 508 Street Rd, Cochranville, PA. Visitation with the family will be from 11:30AM to 1:00PM with a memorial service at 1:00PM at AVON GROVE CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 240 State Rd, West Grove, PA.
