Albert E. Brill, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on April 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born and raised in Gloucester, New Jersey, Albert lived a life rooted in faith, commitment to family, and devotion to serving others. A faithful and devout Catholic, Albert's life was a reflection of his beliefs — one of grace, humility, and generosity.
A lifelong learner and scholar, Albert earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from LaSalle University, a Master’s in Education from Niagara University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His love of knowledge was matched by his deep appreciation for classical music, which brought him joy and peace throughout his life. Remembered as saying “family is forever,” he never missed a summer from childhood to adulthood spending time with family at the beach, enjoying the sun and waves at the Jersey Shore.
Albert began his professional journey as a history teacher and later worked as a social worker in Philadelphia, but it was in the field of Philanthropy that he found his life’s calling. He dedicated the majority of his career to Christian-based philanthropic organizations, embodying his values through service to others. A highly respected man of leadership guided by his intelligence, strategic thinking, and integrity, Albert was involved in countless organizations throughout his lifetime, including local boards, societies, and even ran for Mayor twice in the1970’s.
He was a man of quiet strength, kindness, and grace — reserved yet warm, with a fun sense of humor and timeless class. An unkind word about others was never spoken by him. A true American Patriot, Albert held a deep love and respect for his country, a value still strongly embraced by his close family members.
Albert is survived by his beloved wife, Judy, the light of his life, and their four children, Jennifer, Amy, Chris, and Nancy, all of whom he was very proud. He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, and two loving sisters, Ruth and Julie. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Edward Brill, who now welcome him into eternal rest.
A man of deep faith and steadfast integrity, Albert's legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched through his kindness and wisdom.
