Alma E. Greeley

Alma E. Greeley of West Chester passed away on Tuesday, January 21 , 2024 at Barclay Friends after a long illness.  She was 85 years old.  Born in Fauquier County, Virginia, she was the daughter of Willett Painter and Hazel Funkhauser Painter.

She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence Greeley; mother of Michael Greeley, David Greeley and the late Kathleen Greeley; grandmother of Sarah Greeley; sister of William Painter, Shirley McDermott, the late Walter Painter and the late James Painter.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00AM until 10:30AM with a memorial service at 10:30AM on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square.  Inurnment will follow in Longwood Cemetery.
