Ann "Annie" Dempsey Clendenin

Ann "Annie" Dempsey Clendenin, of West Grove and formerly from Kennett Square passed away at her home as she wished on Saturday, May 21, 2022.  She was 98 years old.

Born in Port Deposit, Maryland, Annie was the daughter of the late Rowland Dempsey and the late Ethel Moulton Dempsey.

She was the mother of James R. Clendenin, Jr. and beloved mother-in-law of Kimberly Ward Clendenin; sister of Virginia Roberts.

Annie was predeceased by her husband, James R. Clendenin, Sr. and siblings, Marjorie Windish, Jean Swayne, Floyd Dempsey, Lewis Dempsey, Carson Dempsey and Rowland Dempsey.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 6:00PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 with a service at 6:00PM at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square.

Burial will be private in Longwood Cemetery.
