Anne L. Zimmerman, a long-time member of Radnor, died on January 16, 2024, a couple of weeks shy of her 98th birthday. She graduated from Friends Central School, attended Bradford Junior College, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. A talented athlete, she was an All-American Lacrosse player at Penn and was the center on the United States Team that toured England in 1951.
Along with her two sons, Tad and Peter, she started hunting with Radnor Hunt around 1963 and continued to do so for more than 30 years. She then became very involved in the Radnor Pony Club. She served as District Commissioner and later as Regional Supervisor for the Eastern PA Region. She was recognized as a National Legend by the U. S. Pony Club.
She was involved with the Radnor Three Day Event from its inception in 1973 in various capacities, serving as Chairman from 1985 to 1987, and again from 1993 to 1995. She served on the Board at Radnor Hunt and as House Committee Chairman. The Radnor Hunt and the Radnor Hunt Pony Club were sources of great pleasure to her.

Zimmerman (Laura Gail), Peter M. Zimmerman, Catherine Zimmerman; great-grandmother of Robert S. Zimmerman and Anna A. Zimmerman
