Benjamin Patrick Price, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on February 6, 2026. Ben lived a life defined by love, humor, leadership, and deep connection to those around him.
Ben was a devoted husband to his wife, Elizabeth (Liz) Price, whom he met in college, and a proud, loving father to Lachlan and Hudson. His family was his greatest joy and truest accomplishment. He loved watching his boys grow, run, perform, and develop their own unique personalities. Whether cheering from the sidelines, sharing laughter at home, or simply spending time together, Ben was their biggest supporter, their comedian, and their safe place.
Professionally, Ben served as a Vice President at IQVIA, where he was widely respected not only for his intelligence and strategic insight, but for his character. Colleagues describe him as an exceptional leader who inspired confidence, brought out the best in others, and led with integrity, warmth, and wit. He was confident and poised, yet always kind, approachable, and generous with his time and mentorship. He approached his work with passion and excellence, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to work alongside him.
Ben had a deep curiosity about the world and a love of history, art, nature, and sports. He found great joy in visiting museums, often spending hours carefully reading exhibit descriptions and fully immersing himself in the stories behind the art and artifacts. Many family memories involved watching or attending Sixers, Phillies, or Eagles games. Traveling as a family was important to Ben. Some of their most cherished trips included exploring the California coastline, visiting Arizona — especially the Grand Canyon and Sedona — and exploring London. These adventures created countless lasting memories and reflected Ben’s love of sharing new experiences with his family.
At home, Ben loved sharing interests with his sons, including watching shows together, creating moments of laughter, connection, and simple joy. Ben seemed to excel at everything he tried and had a remarkable sense of humor, often creating voices and spontaneous songs that became unforgettable memories for family and friends.
He also loved concerts, discovering great restaurants, and spending peaceful time sitting on the beach, breathing in the ocean air. Above all, Ben cherished being surrounded by his his family.
Benjamin Patrick Price is survived by his beloved wife, Liz, and their sons, Lachlan and Hudson. He is also survived by his loving parents, Edward Price and Sue Marie Price; his brother, Micah Price, and Micah’s wife, Brandy Price; and his nephews, Owen and Austin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Josephine Machek, and Lewis and Lillian Price, whose memories he held close.
Ben also shared a deep and meaningful bond with Liz’s family, including his in-laws, Liz’s sisters and brother (predeceased), as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom loved and embraced him as their own.
Ben’s legacy is one of love, laughter, leadership, and connection. He made people feel valued, supported, and deeply cared for simply by being himself. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 11:30 until 12:30PM with a celebration of life service to begin at 12:30PM at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREAMTION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square. Burial will be private.
