Carl Albert Sand, Jr. of Avondale, Pennsylvania and formerly of Abingdon, Illinois passed away on May 3, 2018 at Jennersville Hospital. He was 80 years old.

Born in Knox County, Illinois, he was the son of the late Carl Albert Sand, Sr. and the late Lois Lenze Sand.

He was the beloved husband of the late Madeleine Rowe Sand and father of MaryBeth Gay of Avondale. Carl was predeceased by his brother Richard Sand.

Per his wishes, services will be private.
