Charles F. Petry, Jr. of Cochranville, Pennsylvania passed away at home on Sunday, December 8, 2024.  He was 87 years old.  Born in Ridley Park, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Charles Francis Petry and Anne Tittinger Petry.

He was the beloved husband of Catharine Spanier Petry; father of Catharine P. Griffith (Brooke), Marie P. Bruecks (Brian), Jeffrey Petry (Kim) and Gregory Petry (Carole Heys); grandfather of Morgan Griffith, Sumner Griffith, Tristan Bruecks, Cassandra Bruecks, Charlotte Bruecks, Zoey Petry and Kylie Petry; brother of Raymond Petry, Elise Petry Combs, Paul Petry, Anne Petry O'Laughlin and David Petry.  In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by his brother, Michael Petry.

A viewing will be from 11:45AM until 12:45PM with a Funeral Mass at 1:00PM on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at ASSUMPTION BVM CATHOLIC CHURCH, 300 State Road, West Grove.  Burial will be private in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.

The family asks that flowers be omitted.  Please consider a memorial donation in Charles' memory to Assumption BVM Church.
