Charles "Snooky" Granville Dorsey

Charles "Snooky" Granville Dorsey passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.  He was 81 years old.

Born in York, Pennsylvania, Charles was the son of the late Arthur Granville Dorsey and the late Frances Edna Wilson.  

He was the beloved father of Beverly Pedraza (Carlos), Michael Keesey (Crystal), Frances Dorsey, Regina Gaffney, Charlene Vargas (Wilson) and April Keesey; brother of James Dorsey, Robert Dorsey, Patricia Bladen, Barbara Jackson, David Porter and Wayne Porter.  Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Also survived by Jean Keesey.

He was predeceased by his son, Charles Alan Keesey, his wife, Barbara Dorsey, his sister, E. Sandy Clark and granddaughter, Felicia Dorsey.

Charles retired from West Grove Borough after many years of service.  Prior to this, he was a foreman for Lamborn Mushroom Company.  He was also a proud volunteer for the Avondale Fire Company and West Grove Fire Company.  He loved fishing, gardening, cutting grass, working on mowers, playing cards, fixing just about anything and telling jokes.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

A viewing will be from 9:00AM until 10:00AM with Going Home Services beginning at 10:00AM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Christ Community Fellowship, 356 Chatham Road, West Grove.  Procession and burial in Church of Christ Cemetery, 746 Doe Run Rd, Coatesville, PA will follow the church service.
