Connie DiRenzo

Connie DiRenzo of Media, PA, passed peacefully on February 4, 2021. Born in Springfield, PA to Ottavio and Anita DiRenzo, she was 66 years old.

She is survived by her mother, Anita DiRenzo; sister, Anita Walther and beloved children, Tamara and Kristopher Nolte. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends. 

Connie was a force. We remember her powerful presence and qualities of youth, humor, glamour, and warmth. With the soul of a cheerleader, she dazzled us with her bright energy and invincible spirit. 

She was a proud mother with a nurturing heart. Connie’s life’s work was to inspire children, teachers and families at the Ted DiRenzo Montessori School in Collingdale, which she owned and operated for over 25 years. Carrying on her father’s legacy, she instilled in children a love for learning and the confidence to “bee” all they can be. 

Connie loved to bike, chat, sing in choirs, swim at the beach and of course, put together the perfect outfit. Her closet is like a boutique, with one vibrant piece after another. In her next life, she’ll be a fashion icon. To some, she already is.

Services will be private, followed by a celebration of life once it is safe to gather. Sign up to be notified of the date.
