Daniel (Dan) Wark, 80, of Kennett Square, PA passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026 surrounded by loving family members.
He grew up in Clifton Heights and Chestertown, MD before raising his family in Media. A graduate of Gettysburg College and Temple University School of Dentistry, he was a longtime dentist who practiced in Swarthmore. He enjoyed traveling, rooting on Philadelphia sports teams, and spending time with his family and his many golden retrievers. Dan's love of animals, history, and cookies also brought him great joy.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Papka) and his children Nicole Jeffers (Matthew) and Steve Wark (Nicole). He will be missed by his three wonderful granddaughters: Caroline, Hannah, and Eliza. His "granddoodle", Holly, will also miss his walks to the bakery.
Services will be private in Sherborn, MA. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue
