Debra Lyn "Debbie" Meyer, born in Quincy, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at her home in Greenville, Delaware, on July 1, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Debbie was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished Nonna, sister, aunt, and loyal friend whose greatest joy was caring for the people she loved. Alongside her husband, Bernard "Bernie" Meyer, she built a life centered on unconditional love, creating a home where family always came first. Together, they celebrated 47 years of marriage built on friendship, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Of all the roles she cherished, none brought her more joy than being Nonna. Her grandchildren were the center of her world. She delighted in making every holiday magical, every birthday unforgettable, and every family gathering something special. Whether she was planning the perfect celebration, decorating her home for the holidays, or picking her grandchildren up from school in one of her beloved sports cars, Debbie had a remarkable way of turning ordinary moments into lifelong memories. Those who knew Debbie will remember her warm smile, generous spirit, thoughtful nature, and fierce love for her family. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and loved, whether through a beautifully decorated holiday, a thoughtfully planned gathering, or a simple act of kindness. She believed that life's greatest gifts were found in time spent with the people you love.

Debbie is survived by her devoted husband, Bernard "Bernie" Meyer; her loving children, Tiffany Meyer, Daniel Meyer, and Stacey White; her cherished grandchildren, Sophia, Lillie, Isabel, Jack, and Charlotte; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

A funeral service celebrating Debbie's life will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Church Christiana Hundred, 505 E. Buck Road, Wilmington, DE 19807.
