Delbert C. Atwood

Delbert C. Atwood passed away at home on Friday, October 1, 2021.  He was 88 years old.

Born in Ashe County, North Carolina, he was the son of Calvin Wally Atwood and Gladys Maguire Atwood.

Delbert was the beloved husband of Venice Willen Atwood; father of 10 children, 22 grand children; 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; brother of Barbara Barker and Maxiene Friesland.  Delbert was predeceased by siblings, Faye, Nell, Rosalla, Jean, Ken and Wade.

A viewing will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00PM with a funeral service at 12:00PM on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Longwood Funeral Home & Cremation of Matthew Genereux, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square.  Burial will follow in Kemblesville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
