Dennis Lafferty Obituary

Dennis M. Lafferty, age 69, of West Grove, PA passed away peacefully on August 4, 2021.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, most especially by his beloved wife of 32 years, Sandra Delligatti.

Dennis, the son of Harriette and Edward Lafferty, Sr, was born in Delaware County and grew up in Prospect Park.  He was a loving and devoted father being survived by 4 daughters, Victoria (Bob Andrews), Denise (Anthony DiRosato), Shannon (Josh Yarouz), and Melissa.  Dennis is also survived by his sister, Sherry Lafferty.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Edward Lafferty, Jr.

After graduating from Interboro High School, Dennis began his career as a Prosthetist/Orthotist and attended NYU where he completed his certifications.  In over 40 years of practice, Dennis was able to fulfill a passion for helping others and changed the lives of countless people in so many positive ways.

With an enduring sense of humor that could be instantly recognized, Dennis simply sought to enjoy life with his loved ones — whether it be experimenting with a new recipe at home, enjoying a cold beer and live music at one of his favorite local breweries, driving around to find a new place to explore, or implementing one of his latest practical jokes.

Long story long (as he would often say), Dennis will be remembered for his kind and caring heart, playful spirit, and strength in the face of adversity.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity of your choice.

A memorial service will be at a later date.
