Dolores "Dolly" Elaine Gormley

Dolores "Dolly" Elaine Gormley of Avondale, Pennsylvania passed away at home on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.  She was 90 years old.  

Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Ernest and Alice Kolsrud Nordstrom.

Dolly was the beloved mother of Eileen Gormley Rule {John}; grandmother of Rachael Rule.  She was predeceased by siblings, Marilyn Johnston and Robert G. Nordstrom.  Dolly was the former wife of Wayne "Hap" Gormley.

Dolly was a Golden Member (50yr) of Glenolden Congregational church where she served as deacon and sang in the church.  She also sang in the Ridley and West Chester Community Chorus'.

A viewing will be from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.  A graveside service will be at 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at UNION HILL CEMETERY, Route 82, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.  A Celebration of Life service will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 6, 20201 at Glenolden Congregational Church, 115 S. Scott Ave., Glenolden, PA.  A luncheon will follow the service.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dolly's memory to Glenolden Congregational Church, 115 S Scott Ave, Glenolden, PA 19036.
