Donald Reigart Belt

Donald Reigart Belt of Kennett Square, PA passed away Tuesday March 5, 2024 due to complications of ALS at Cadia ~ Pike Creek, DE.  He was 59 years old.

Donald was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 29,1964 to David H. Belt and Paula Belt.  A graduate of Liberty High School, he studied political science at Syracuse University and played saxophone in the band.  He obtained his MBA from the University of Baltimore.

Donald married Barbara Mountain Belt in 1991.  They were married for 32 years before she passed away June 16, 2023.  Donald is survived by his 3 daughters, Sarah G. Belt, Caitlin A. Belt and Rachel C. Belt; his sister, Cynthia Bomhardt and his nieces and nephews.

He was an investment manager at Vanguard for over 20 years.  He enjoyed spending time with his family especially at their cottage on the Susquehanna River.  He was an avid and loyal supporter of the Baltimore Ravens and sports fan in general.  He was a dedicated, loving father and friend.

Visitation with the family will be from 2:00PM until 3:00PM with a memorial service at 3:00PM on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 W. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester.  Burial will be private in Druid Ridge Cemetery.
