Edwin Lee Blevins

Edwin Lee Blevins of Cape May, New Jersey passed away on December 8, 2020, surrounded by his family.  He was 82 years old. 

Edwin was the son of B. Frank Blevins and Artie Stike Blevins.  He was born in West Chester, raised in Toughkenamon and Kennett Square, where he lived until moving to Wilmington, DE, after his marriage to Carol Fiore Blevins in 1965.  Mr. Blevins owned and operated a successful bridal salon with his wife and son in Wilmington until his retirement to Cape May, NJ.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Fiore Blevins; their son, Frank B. Blevins of Wilmington; sister, Janet James of St. Petersburg, FL and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by siblings, George W. Blevins, Elwanda Hollingsworth, Mildred Reynolds, Mayo Ginsler and Lena Ciorrocco.

He touched and influenced a great number of people during his lifetime.  There are no words to describe how much he will be missed.

A viewing will be from 3:00PM until 5:00PM on Sunday, December 20, 2020 and from 9:30AM until 10:30AM on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00AM on Monday, December 21, 2020 at St. PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square.  Entombment will be private in Longwood Cemetery at a future date.
