Edwin Aaron, Sr., a resident of Cochranville, Pennsylvania and former chemist for DuPont, died peacefully on October 28, 2025. He was 86 years old.
Born and raised in Boothwyn, Delaware County, he was the son of Hayworth and Helen Voss Aaron. Edwin was a graduate of Chichester High School and continued his education at Penn State University, where he earned a degree in Chemistry. He spent his career at DuPont, working as an alchemist in the company's X-ray division.
An avid outdoorsman, he found great joy and solitude spending time at "the fottage."
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Sydney Davies Aaron and their son, Edwin "Paul" Aaron, Jr.
Edwin is survived by two daughters: Gayle Wagner (Jed) and Sheryl Tristani (Steve). He also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Jake, Josh, Jared, Sydney and Steven.
A viewing will be from 10:00AM until 11:00AM with a funeral service at 11:00AM on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston.
