Elizabeth "Betty Jo" Basilio

Elizabeth "Betty Jo" Josephine Basilio of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday evening, September 18, 2024 surrounded by her family.  She was 82 years old.

Born in Whiteford, Hartford County, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James Procheska and the late Elizabeth Martin Procheska.

Betty Jo was the beloved wife of Nicholas "Nick" E. Basilio, Sr.; mother of Gale Ferguson (Jim), Nicholas E. Basilio, Jr. (Megan) and Vincent Basilio (Laura); grandmother of Dr. Molly Basilio, Ben Basilio, Chesca Basilio and Nicholas Basilio.  She was predeceased by her brother, James Procheska and two sisters.

A viewing will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, September, 25, 2024 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square.  Burial will be private.  {note: there will be no viewing on Thursday morning}
