Florence Saulnier

Florence J. Saulnier, age 95 of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and formerly of Dover, Delaware passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021.

Florence was born in Newark, New Jersey to Michael and Josephine Palagano.  She was a graduate of Barringer High School and upon graduation started a career with Bell Telephone.  On a vacation to Bermuda, she met the love of her life, Ernest Saulnier, who was stationed there with the United States Air Force.

They were married for almost 50 years before his death in 2005.

Florence enjoyed traveling, word puzzles and a good slice of pizza but most of all, she enjoyed her family.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Beverly Saulnier of Pittsburgh, PA , a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Tom Bukovacz of Chadds Ford, PA; three grandchildren, Nicole Shearer, Charles Bukovacz and Julianne Bukovacz and one great-grandson, Jacob Shearer.

Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE.
