Gayle Kathryn Fors

Gayle Kathryn Fors, born August 24, 1937, peacefully passed away on June 21, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Barlow Fors.

Gayle is lovingly remembered by her brother, Wayne Jeronimus; her six children, Rebecca Cooper, Scott Fuller, Sharon Fuller, Mark Fuller, Brian Fors and Jennifer Fors DeLuca; 24 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Gayle worked as an administrative assistant in various fields, including finance, manufacturing, and healthcare, where she was known for her dedication and professionalism.

Gayle had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs and cats, and was an active volunteer with the ASPCA and Fort Macon State Park.  Her passions also extended to gardening and exploring the beauty of beaches and lighthouses along the East Coast.  Gayle will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, service, and love for nature and animals will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local ASPCA or the Brandywine Valley SPCA in Gayle’s memory.

A memorial service to celebrate Gayle's life will be held at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral, 900 Cathedral Rd, Bryn Athyn, PA, on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 4:00 PM, with a prelude beginning at 3:40 PM.

Visitation with the family will also be held from 10:00AM until 10:30AM on Friday, August 9, 2024 with a memorial service at 10:30AM at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.
