Geoffrey Farnsworth passed away peacefully at home on March 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 4, 1943.
Geoff was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Gayle Farnsworth; his daughter, Andrea Klein, and her husband, Jeff Klein; and his cherished grandsons, Jason, Adam, and Benson Klein. He is also survived by his brothers, Alan and Roger Coffey. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Coffey; her husband, Kenneth Coffey; and his brother, Marvin Coffey.
Geoff proudly served in the Army National Guard, carrying that sense of discipline and commitment throughout his life. He dedicated many years of his professional life as a respected manager at Swartz and Sons Distributors, where he was known for his leadership, reliability, and strong work ethic.
A long-time resident of Crofton, Maryland, where he lived for 30 years, Geoff eventually moved to West Grove, PA to enjoy his retirement years closer to his children and grandchildren.
Geoff had a passion for simple pleasures—especially playing cards, camping, and spending time with family. He was a loyal sports fan, enthusiastically following teams from Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Detroit. He also found great enjoyment in fantasy baseball, a hobby that reflected both his love of the game and his connection with friends and family.
Geoff will be remembered as a devoted husband, a supportive father, and a doting grandfather. His steady presence and the deep love he had for his family will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
