Gerald "Jerry" R. Hollingsworth

Jerry Hollingsworth of Branson West, Missouri and formerly of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania passed away on March 2, 2026.  He was 80 years old.

Born on April 29, 1945 in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Walter Hollingsworth and the late Elwanda Blevins Hollingsworth.

He was the beloved husband of Sandra Ware Hollingsworth; father of Ellice "Shelli" Jewell, Lauren Dorsey (Andrew), Shane Dorsey, Danielle Dorsey and Jack Jewell; brother of the late Charles Hollingsworth (Linda) of Arizona, AZ, Dorothy Boyd (Howard) of New York, George Hollingsworth of Pennsylvania, Merrill Hollingsworth (MaryAnn) of Pennsylvania and Marie Scrivana (Al) of Colorado.

Jerry was a 1964 graduate of Kennett High School.  He served in the Army National Guard from 1966 to 1971.  He worked for Mt. Cuba as gardener until he moving to Missouri in 1999, where he was a member of Assembly of God in Reeds Spring, Missouri.  Jerry enjoyed camping, travelling, wood working, gardening, watching and feeding birds and animals and watching sunsets.  "Jerry never fully retired he always did something till he couldn't"!

An urn graveside service in Longwood Cemetery will be announced once planned.
