Gregory Wayne Allison, Jr. of Oxford, Pennsylvania, died peacefully in his sleep at home surrounded by family on Thursday, April 18, 2024, after a long illness. He was 42 years old.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Gregory was the dearly loved son of Mark and Gail Horne (Hinman), and he is survived by his sister, Melissa Kaye Allison Hughes; brother-in-law, Nick Hughes; nephews James and Tristan Hughes of Walnut Creek, California; his step-sister, Greer Horne of Atlanta, Georgia; his step-brother, Hamilton Horne of Birmingham, Alabama and his aunt, Susan Williamson (Hinman) of Springville, Alabama.
Gregory graduated from Marietta High School in Georgia and later attended University of Alabama at Birmingham. He worked many years in the real estate industry in the greater Washington, D.C. area as well as in Pennsylvania. He will be remembered as a loyal and compassionate brother and friend. He was a kind soul with a wonderful sense of humor. He loved animals and supported local animal rescue charities. He will be greatly missed.
The family will be holding a private service at a later date.
