Harold White Jr., age 85, a long-time resident of Cochranville, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Chester County Hospital. Born in Morristown, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Harold and the late Winifred MacPherson White.
Before retiring, Harold worked as a Parts Manager for Material Handling Supply, Inc. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. He enjoyed motorcycles and refereed hill-climb races for many years. He was an avid Phillies fan and attended TSO concerts every year. Known for his kind, generous soul, and adventurous spirit. Harold loved traveling, cruises, bus trips, and train rides.
He was the beloved husband of Delores “Dee” White, with whom he shared 16 years of marriage; father of David and Mark; brother of Dotty Hueber; step-father of Brian (Cari) and Chuck (Candice) Schroder. He was a cherished "Pop-Pop" to his four grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, Natalee and Jaxon Schroder. Harold was predeceased by his first wife, Beverly White, and brother-in-law, Al Hueber.
A viewing will be from 12:00PM until 1:00PM with a funeral service at 1:00PM on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square. Burial with United States Air Force honors will follow in Cochranville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Harold's name may be made to Wounded Warriors donate , Tunnels to Towers donate or to a Veteran charity of your choice.
