Helen "Babe" Marie Vallorani passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Chester County Hospital. She was 87 years old.
Born and raised in Toughkenamon, Babe was the daughter of Antonio Masciantonio and Mary DeDominic Masciantonio.
Babe was the beloved wife of Joseph Vallorani for 64 years; mother of Diane (John), Joey (Donna), Steve (Lisa) and Lisa (Dave); Mom-Mom of Jaclyn, Andrea, Johnny, Vinny, Christine, Steven, Jenna, Ricky, Antonio, Michael, David and Angelia; sister of Anna Basciani (Mario). In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Nick and sister Julia Caputo.
Babe enjoyed her bus trips to Atlantic City, dancing, laughing, telling jokes, playing cards with her girlfriends and always having a cup of tea. A homemaker at heart, she cared for her husband and her entire family. She enjoyed cooking her big Italian meals and was famous for her meatballs for which she shared the recipe with many. Most of all, Babe loved hearing from anyone checking in with her on the telephone!
A devout catholic, Babe was member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother R.C.C.
A viewing will be from 9:30 AM until 12:00 PM with a Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM on Friday, Janaury 31, 2020 at St. GABRIEL of the SORROWFUL MOTHER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8910 Gap Newport Pike, Avondale.
Burial will follow the Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Cemetery, Kennett Square.
