Helena Hubert

Helen was born in Chester, Pennsylvania and grew up in Milmont Park.  She graduated from Ridley High School in 1958 and worked as an administrative assistant for several employers including Sun Oil, DuPont and State Farm.  She lived the first part of her life in Delaware County and in Kennett Square for the last 30 years.  She was an excellent cook, an avid reader and loved spending time with friends and family.  She was generous and kind, her door always open.  

Helen passed away the morning of July 7, 2024, and is survived by Barbara Hubert (daughter), Keith & Nona Hubert (son & daughter-in-law), Sabrina (granddaughter) and Tea (granddaughter).  We take comfort knowing that she lived a good life and shared it with us.

Visitation with the family will be from 12:00PM until 1:15PM with a Catholic prayer service at 1:15PM on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square.  Burial will be private.
