IN LOVING MEMORY OF MARY JACQUELINE WALTON

Mary Jacqueline (Jackie) Walton, age 86 passed away on Sunday June 14, 2026 with her family by her side.

Jackie was born in Relief, North Carolina October 26, 1939.  She was the youngest daughter of George, Sr. and Fairy Canipe Warrick.

She was a 1957 graduate of Octorara Area High School and she attended Goldey Beacom College.  Jackie worked at Longwood Gardens as a secretary for the security department and retired after 24 years of employment.  After retirement, she volunteered for Avon Grove School District and the Friends Home.

Jackie was a member and served as a Deacon for Unionville Presbyterian Church.

She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and their many sports and activities.

Jackie is survived by her three daughters; Sherri Lynn, wife of Phillip Foster, Suzanne Testa, wife of Robert Testa and Kathleen Walton Laviani; eleven grandchildren, Tara Homer (Kevin), Tracey Suderley (Jim), Zach Walton (Peyton), Matthew Foster (Jill), Mackenzie Foster, Michael Testa, Dominic Testa (Jocelyn), Kristina Testa, Garrett Ockun, Bennett Ockun and Louis Walton Laviani; five great grandchildren, Landon Homer, Lucas Homer, Saylor Suderley, Palmer Suderley and Stevie Josephine Walton; sister, Jaunita Warrick and sister in-laws, Joanne Warrick, Carole Warrick and Peg Ogurcak.

Jackie was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Edward Bennett Walton and their son, Steven Edward Walton; four brothers Vernon, George, Tom and Greg Warrick; two sisters, Evelyn Coates and Betty Rebsamen and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00AM until 11:00AM with a memorial service at 11:00AM on Friday, June 26, 2026 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jackie's name can be made to the Longwood Fire Company, St. Jude’s Hospital or La Manche.
