James Lafrance

James Vincent LaFrance “Vince”, age 63, of Avondale, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on October 21, 2024.  Born in West Chester, he was the son of Ralph and Patricia LaFrance (nee Barnes).

Vince was a volunteer firefighter for the Avondale Fire Company for many years and a bus driver. 

Vince enjoyed camping, having a beer with good friends, riding around on his cooler scooter, floating the river and making others laugh. Even though he had a hard shell he was a softie on the inside and truly cared for those around him. 

Vince was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Patricia LaFrance; his brother, Ralph LaFrance Jr., and his sisters, Vicky LaFrance Lash and Denise Hagerty. 

He is survived by one niece, Lauren Watson, and two step daughters, Monamour Martinez and Amy Delio.
