Wahl, Jane (nee Roddy) 78, of Kennett Square, PA, born July 23, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA. Died peacefully at her home on October 8, 2021. A long time resident of Morristown, NJ she and her husband Tony had recently moved to Kennett Square to be closer to family. She was a graduate of Jenkintown High School (Jenkintown, PA) and the University of Pennsylvania. Jane was an avid field hockey player and official. Those who played field hockey in northern New Jersey may remember her in her official’s uniform running up and down the field hockey field with a cigarette in her hand. Later tennis became a passion and she was a part of many round robins and league play. For the last 20 years, Naples, Florida had become her home away from home. She resided in the Naples Bath and Tennis community where she played lots of tennis, walked 3 miles every morning, and enjoyed Bridge. She is survived by her husband Anthony (Tony) Wahl, their children Heather Saylor (Chicago, IL), Megan Heganbarth (David) (Wilmington, DE), Anthony (Toby) Wahl, III (Marya) (Potomac, MD), Abigail Wahl-Genon (Jean-Phillipe) (Plaudren, Brittany, France), and her sister Lynn Roddy (New York, NY). She was the proud Grammie Jane to Benjamin, Timothy, David John (Lyndsey), Dominique, Brooke, Estelle, Jacob, Alexander, Morgane and Mazarine. In addition to her beloved family, Jane loved every dog she met. She always brought dog treats with her which the neighborhood dogs eagerly awaited on her daily walks!
