Jo Ann Thomas

Jo A. Thomas, age 76, of West Grove passed away on February 5, 2021 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

She was quiet, kind, and had a deep faith in God.  After she retired she volunteered with Meals on Wheels until she was no longer able.  Jo truly appreciated the beauty of nature and loved watching deer.  She also enjoyed John Wayne movies and watching NASCAR with her brothers-in-law.

Jo was predeceased by her parents, George and Marie Thomas.  She is survived by sisters Violet Peirson and Joyce Brooks, brother David Thomas, nephews David, Cody, Luke, nieces Linda, Lisa, Kayla, and Rebecca as well as several great nieces and nephews.

We extend heartfelt thanks to Jo’s team from Holisticare Hospice and the entire staff of Twin Pines Health Care Center.  True to Jo’s private nature, she asked that there be no funeral service.  Please honor her memory by going outside for a breath of fresh air, rejoicing in the sunshine and snow and the creatures in the meadow.  Above all else, please treat each other with kindness and respect.
